My Mother's Peach, My Grandfather's Smile
24” x 18” | NFS | My mom painted this peach, knife, and bowl and then gave me the canvas to finish it. I used lilies from my garden, a beautiful rust-colored Heath tablecloth my friend Ilyse gave me, and a photograph of my mother’s father, Herbert King, a journalist in Europe before and during WWII.
20" x 20" | Julie Gifford's studio, winter '24 | A gift for my mom
